I’m 13 and i just bought some stuff for my rc car (stampede). I think i have a little problem. i want to buy too much stuff! should i buy a:
1) Dremel 400 with 90 accessories $130
2)rc18 r rc car with alot of upgrades, (dx2 radio, mamba max carbon fiber etc.) $200
3)Garrett ace 250 metal detector $212 w/ 7 accessories
These are all things that i want to buy, but i can’t decide. pleas help me out.
I’m thinking the rc car or metal detector, and then talk my dad into buying the dremel himself.
Buy the metal detector, find some gold, buy the other stuff!

I know the whites dealer where I live takes your old whites so you can upgrade to something higher. I guess they take the old one alike a trade-in! Good luck.. Ask at your whites dealer

I’m looking into buying a good metal detector. I don’t have a lot of money, so I am looking at something thats under $250. Two that I am interested in are the Garrett 250 and Bounty Hunter Tracker IV. I’ve also heard that Whites are good. i would prefer to spend the least possible, but still get a good one. I probably won’t be going any special places, but stuff like campground, park, and probably my backyard. I would also like it to be waterproof, because the beach is a good place. so if you have any suggestions on what to buy, and where, please let me know. Thanks!
Hi,
Of the two you mentioned, go with the Garrett 250. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the 250. As for being waterproof, the coil will be, but not the brainbox, do not get that wet. Detectors that are totally waterproof cost $$$. here is a good website to look around at, they also have good dealers. http://www.thetreasuredepot.com/index.html

If they are not verry good can you please give me some other metal detectors for about £100 please. thank you
Stay away from both. The Bounty hunter is junk.Poor build quality. The Ace 250 is hard to learn how to pinpoint with. Where I live in the states I am seeing lots of people trading these in for something better. I have detected for over 25 yrs, and if I were you I would look at the Tesoro Silver U-Max. Cost is $239.00 U.S. I know this is more than you want to spend, but it is by far a better detector. Excellent depth.Very easy to use for a beginner.Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty.
