METAL DETECTORS – Can someone recommend places (generally) will I have the best results? Old Barns? Playgrnds?
Posted on Feb 25, 2010 under Fisher Metal Detector | 2 CommentsI never did this before but I saw it on sale and decided it may be fun to try. Its a good quality brand "FISHER" and also half price.
I have had the very best luck at little league baseball fields under bleachers and in front of concession stands. Also the walking paths leading to the fields. If you live near a county fairgrounds,be looking the days after the fair leaves town.Attend the fair and remember where the midway was located. That’s where people are most likely to be digging in their pockets and purses for money. Also remember any spots were that players had to toss coins to play the games. I haven’t got rich but almost always have paid for my effort and actually found a gold necklace that I advertised in the local paper under "LOST AND FOUND. After waiting 30 days and getting no correct response, I sold the necklace for $900. Definitely a good days pay. Good luck!
